Cynren Press publishes across two primary imprints, each with its own editorial focus and aesthetic sensibility. While our books share a commitment to thoughtful craft and meaningful storytelling, each imprint carries its own voice, purpose, and publishing identity.

CYNREN

Cynren, our flagship imprint, publishes memoir, biography, history, women’s studies, and poetry. Cynren books emphasize strong voice, purposeful craft, and projects that engage profoundly with lived experience. The imprint includes most titles on our traditional list.

cennan

Cennan is our dedicated fiction imprint. It is home to historical and world fiction as well as psychological, speculative, and voice-driven novels that captivate through narrative power and emotional resonance. Fiction under Cennan tends to be immersive, character-centered, and shaped by a strong sense of story and craft.

TERMAGANT (in development)

Termagant is where women’s studies meets fire—a home for the stories of women who showed up uninvited, rewrote the rules, and refused to be managed. Nonfiction and poetry are welcome here.
