About Cynren Press: Our Team and Mission
The Team
PUBLISHER
Holly Thesieres Monteith is founder and publisher of Cynren Press. She oversees all aspects of the publishing process, including acquisitions, editorial development, design, production, marketing, and distribution.
She founded Cynren Press in 2017 out of a deep love for books, history, and the ways humans try—often imperfectly—to understand themselves and one another. She holds a BA with honors from the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University, an MA in linguistics from Rice University, and a second MA, in communication in contemporary society, from Johns Hopkins. Before launching Cynren, she worked for fifteen years in various publishing roles.
